The Canada Games Centre opened October 2005. It is the main centre for indoor recreation activity for the City of Whitehorse and surrounding communities. The amenities include:

• Whitehorse Lion's Aquatic Centre: 25 meter pool, diving board, hot tub, sauna & steam room, lazy river and tots pool
• Northwestel Arena (NHL size ice)
• ATCO Ice (Olympic size ice)
